I really do like the show but she makes it really unbearable where I usually fast forward her comments. She does not have an open mind in anything especially her politics. I don't go extremely to the left or right, I have opinion's too, but never seen anyone so ignorant and not willing to entertain another opinion. It is just to inform the admin that featured products are not yet configured.To configure featured product you have to add the attribute named "featured" with yes/no values in - <code>admin > catalog >Attributes > Manage attributes</code> Once you add attribute go to - <code>admin > catalog >Attributes >manage attribute sets</code>  here you can see this newly added attribute as unassigned attribute. Then by dragging it assign "featured" attribute to "Default" Attribute set's General Tab. Once this is done you can see this on product add/edit page in admin. Those product with featured value yes will be visible under slider. Hope this help you.
